We strongly encourage you to volunteer or nominate qualified indivuals for offices in the Alabama Section.  Annually, we elect the Chair-elect (who becomes Chair after one year), Secretary, and Treasurer.  Every three years (2009, 2012, 2015, etc.) we elect the councilor and alternate councilor (councilor is the person receiving the highest number of votes and alternate councilor, the next highest number of votes).  Please complete and submit this form to be considered or recommend someone as a candidate for one of the offices.  The Nomination and Election committee will compile the ballot from the list of willing candidates.  The slate is approved at the November meeting and election occurs in December.  New officers take office, January 1st.
